Create A Sales Agent

Creating a Sales Agent (from v 3.0.299)
Creating a sales agent requires that you have first created your internal organisation as a customer or supplier, and associating the sales agent as a contact.
This is done via Customer – Maser File (This process is documented separately.)

Inside your internal organisation you need to create a contact for each sales agent within your organisation.

Note: When using multiple branches you need to create an internal organisation per branch and only create the relevant contacts per branch. From the Contact screen note the ContactID in the top right corner, this is needed in creation of the Sales Agent record.

When clicking on the Sales Agents button on the Main Menu, you are confronted with a list of sales agents, at the bottom of the list there is a * where you can add your new sales Agent. Note the Sales Agent name should be unique as it is this list that is displayed in the Sales Agent or Rep fields on other forms.
Note: Maximizer integration this needs to be an exact match to what is captured in Maximizer.
The ContactID should be the one you noted when looking at the Contact Details form earlier.
