User Access

The user access settings

User Creation:

To add a user select the create new user button. You will then be prompted to capture the branch code, user name and password.

 

User Deleation:

Open the user to be deleted then select the Delete User button. You will be prompted to confirm user deletion. after which you will be prompted asking if it is to be deleted from all branches.

User Administration:

After creation the selection screen will automatically load. Otherwise select the branch to administer then select the green arrow next to user to pick a user to administer.
Right Clicking on a user will give you the list on the Right from where you can change password.

Customers

Master View – Access to View the Debtors Master File

Master Edit – Access to Edit the Debtors Master File

Invoice – Access to Process Invoices against Debtors

Credit Note – Access to Process Credit Notes against Debtors

Reports – Access to Print Debtors reports

Areas – Access to Edit Areas

Categories – Access to Edit categories

Sales Agents – Access to Edit Sales Agents

Sales Orders – Access to Process Sales Orders

 

Customers – Sales Opportunities

Access opportunities – Abilty to Access Sales Opportunities

Company – Grants access to Program Setup.

Accounts – Grants access to Program Setup to edit Default Accounts.

Procedures – Grants access to Program Setup Procedure based settings.

User Access – Grants access to this area.

Data Maint – Grants access to Data Maintenance Button for Backup & Restore and similar Procedures.

Screen Labels – Grants access to Change Screen Labels wherever Screen Label edditing is available.

Block Debtors – Access To Block and Unblock Debtors

Block Creditors – Access To Block and Unblock Creditors

 

Modules – Fault Report

Access Fault Report – Makes Fault Report available to this user.

Maintain Categories – This will give the user access to edit Fault Report Categories.

Maintain Expense Types – This will give the user access to edit Fault Report Expense Types.

Maintain Priorities – This will give the user access to edit Fault Report Priorities.

Maintain Status – This will give the user access to edit Fault Report Status.

Maintain Technicians – This allows a user to Add and Edit Technicians. (Read Documentation on Technicians)

 

Modules – Job Cards

Access Job Costing – Makes Jobs available to this user.

Update Jobs – This will give the user access to edit Job Cards.

Reopen Job – This enable a user to reopen a job after it has been closed

Edit Job Contents – This allows a user to Edit the Jobcard as a spreadsheet (This is not recomended as all controls are removed).

Delete Job Items – This allows a user to Delete items off the Jobcard (This is not recomended as all controls are removed).

Manufacture – Makes this module available to this user.

Fixed Assets – Makes this module available to this user.

Serial #s – Makes this module available to this user.

Foreign Exchange – Makes this module available to this user.

Quotes – Makes this module available to this user.

Contract Billing – Makes this module available to this user.

Contracts – Makes this module available to this user.

 

User Settings

Save Printer Selection and Settings – Saves the Users Printer selection and settings per report This will use Peritus’s PFIM Printing feature.

Enable Maximizer Integration – To specify user accounts to use Maximiser integration. (Note any machine used by this User must have Maximizer installed and a PFIM Maximizer  ODBC Connection Configured)

Display Calendar on Login – Show the Job Appointment Calendar automatically when user logs into PFIM.

Display PO Notification On Login – Show the PO Notification panel automatically when user logs into PFIM.
